Harry Potter wedding - Carley and Aaron SKYLARK 7th April 2018

It has been a quiet start to the year as we would normally would have 15 weddings under our belt by now so we hit off last week with 4 fantastic ones so dusting off the cobwebs and trying to get back to the 5am starts was soon to be appreciated when we got to make and design a Harry Potter wedding.

Whilst there was 9 wands in total it was the "Elder" that was tricky. I didn't help myself as I do not have the tools so it was back to being a kid again with a pen knife or in the flower world what is known as a cost effective oasis floristry knife.

Building the table plan was real fun however the ideas ended up too large so we ended up simply making sections for the entrance of the wedding breakfast.

With skylarks neutral room the dark manzanita worked well originally I had planned to create the manzanita to come out of a spell book but in the mock ups it didnt look like one. I ended up making a free standing over sized spell book using banana bark and reindeer moss.
